A Denver Brokerage With In-House Legal Counsel Built In

Live In It. Or Profit From It.

Brix represents people buying a place to call home and people buying property to build wealth. Same brokerage, same standard, and a licensed Colorado attorney on staff who reviews the contracts before they go out the door.

Corporon & Associates, LLC serves as in-house counsel to Brix Real Estate LLC. Contract review is built into the brokerage at no additional cost to our clients.

How We Work For You

Two Kinds of Buyers.
One Standard of Care.

Half our clients are looking for a place to live. The other half are looking at a spreadsheet. The work looks different. The care does not.

Buying a home

Buying in this market is fast and unforgiving. Deadlines stack up, inspection objections get written badly, and most people sign the biggest contract of their life without anyone on their side who reads contracts for a living. At Brix, someone does.

  • Full buyer representation across the metro
  • Contract terms and deadlines reviewed by in-house counsel before submission
  • Inspection objections written with an eye on what holds up later
  • Lenders, inspectors, and title people we would use ourselves

Selling a home

You want the number, not the flattery. We price on what the market is actually paying, tell you which repairs return money and which ones do not, and read every offer that comes in with the fine print in mind.

  • Pricing built on live comparable sales, not a listing pitch
  • Prep and staging guidance that pays for itself
  • Offer and net sheet review before you sign anything
  • Disclosure questions answered inside the brokerage

Acquisition

We are investors. We have flipped houses, built them from dirt, owned apartment buildings, and operated rentals through good markets and ugly ones. Bring us a deal and you get an opinion from people who already made the mistake, not a printout of comps.

  • Rentals, flips, and small multifamily across the metro
  • Deal review that starts with the numbers and ends with the exit
  • Titling and entity questions handled with counsel involved
  • Straight talk about markets we would stay out of

Disposition and exit

Getting out of a property well is its own skill. Timing, tenant status, condition, and tax posture all move the number. We plan the exit before you need it.

  • Sale strategy for occupied and vacant property
  • 1031 exchange timelines coordinated so the clock does not beat you
  • Portfolio review when you are ready to trade up or cash out
  • Contract and assignment language reviewed in house
The Brix Difference

Every Contract Crosses a Lawyer's Desk.

Brix Real Estate LLC has in-house counsel. Corporon & Associates, LLC serves as in-house counsel to the brokerage, and Jeff Corporon has been a licensed Colorado attorney since 1995. He is also an owner of the brokerage, so the legal review is not a vendor we call when something breaks. It is built into how the company works.

Most brokerages hand you a stack of state forms and hope for the best. When something goes sideways after closing, you are the one calling a lawyer and paying by the hour. We would rather catch it in the contract.

What that means for you

  • Contract language and deadlines reviewed internally before anything is submitted
  • Inspection objections and amendments written with an eye on what holds up later
  • Title issues, easements, and disclosure problems flagged early instead of at closing
  • Entity and titling questions answered inside the brokerage, at no additional cost

Corporon & Associates, LLC serves as in-house counsel to Brix Real Estate LLC and represents the brokerage only. No attorney-client relationship is formed with any client, customer, or visitor. Nothing on this site is legal advice. You are encouraged to obtain independent legal advice for your own matters.

Where Deals Go Wrong

The Contract Has Seven
Places to Get Hurt.

Scroll through a Colorado residential transaction. The gold markers are the points where having an attorney inside the brokerage changes the outcome.

2

Under contract

The clock starts. Every date on that first page is a right you can lose by missing it.

4

Appraisal

Low appraisal, hard conversation. We know which arguments the lender will actually accept.

Final walkthrough

What was promised, what was repaired, and what you are about to accept in writing.

Run the Numbers

Before You Fall In Love
With the Kitchen.

Move the sliders. Same tool, two ways to look at a property: what it costs you to live there, or what it does as a rental.

Estimated monthly payment
$0
Principal and interest$0
Property tax estimate$0
Insurance estimate$0

Illustrative estimate only, based on the numbers you enter. Not a loan offer, quote, pre-approval, or prediction of performance. Tax and insurance are rough placeholders and vary by property. Talk to a lender for real figures.

Experience That Shows Up in the Numbers

We Have Been on
Your Side of the Table.

Brix was not started by people who read about real estate. Between the owners, this company has completed hundreds of fix and flips, built custom homes from the ground up, owned apartment buildings, operated a rental portfolio, and worked through the 2008 collapse without leaving the business. We have signed the bad deal, taken the loss, and learned what to look for.

That history is the reason our advice is worth listening to. When we tell you a house is priced wrong, or that a rental will not cash flow the way the seller's spreadsheet says, it is because we have owned that exact mistake.

Brix Real Estate LLC is a licensed Colorado real estate brokerage. Bruce Berman serves as managing broker.

Our Team

The People Behind the Deals.

We call our agents "Bricks." Every one of them works the same way: know the market, tell the truth, protect the client. Behind them sits the brokerage's in-house counsel, which is a resource most agents in this town do not have and most clients never think to ask about.
